IAS fully supports Academics
The International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications, previously held in important cities such as Chicago, Vienna and Istanbul since 2014 , has been held at the Eastern Mediterranean University in Gazi Magosa, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus. The conference, sponsored also by IAS, hosted important engineers from all over the world. The event, which was completed with a high participant rate, created a great impression. The conference, which focused on the developments in the field of Industrial Engineering, had three focal points this year: the first one was the recent developments and studies in the industrial engineering field, the second was engineering and technology management, and the last one was the health systems management. Faculty members and experts working in these fields came together at this conference and exchanged information.
Gratitude towards IAS
Prof. Dr. Fethi Çalışır from the Industrial Engineering Department at Istanbul Technical University, one of the organizers of the event, says sessions are held to keep up with the date in The International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications and he adds: "Digital transformation, Industry 4.0 and the related concepts are in the center of focus in today's world. Experts working in the Industrial Engineering field come together at this conference and exchange information on these important issues." Mr. Çalışır, who thanks IAS for the support it provided during the conference, says, “As a result of our joint project with IAS, Istanbul Technical University's Industrial Engineering Department, where I lecture too, offers courses on ERP software and caniasERP. We continued this cooperation which was very beneficial for our students and our sector at The International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Applications. IAS, with the support of its General Manager Mr. Behiç Ferhatoğlu, became one of the sponsors of our conference this year. I hope that our collaboration will continue together with our conferences in the future.”
