What were the agenda items that you focused on as IAS in 2019?
In our agenda items this year; Our IoT solution is our own database, IAS DB, our new version 8.02, and we have new web client projects based on it. There are also many issues to be considered in this framework. Our agenda was also very busy in terms of operational activities. One of the most important developments was the opening of our company in South Korea. We also completed the trainings of our South Korean friends who will work there in Istanbul. In addition, we continue our efforts to find new partners in many countries and to increase our interaction network. There are many innovations in the Law on the Protection of Personal Data in accordance with the legislation.

caniasERP is a living product

Can you tell us about caniasERP Live event?
After each busy period, IAS organizes an event to introduce it to our customers and prospects whenever we release new versions or new products. “We have produced something new, let's share this excitement. Let's take these improvements with you a lot further.” says Mr Bahtiyar. t's a beautiful environment; our employees are honored when they see how their work has an impact on people; customers see our excitement and learn what we want to do in the future and our plans for the future. The name of the event is ‘Live’ because the product we offer, caniasERP, is really a living product. We also try to explain the innovations in the life of that product to our customers and candidates.

When you look from participants’ point, why do you think it is important for them to attend the event?
First of all, the door of the event is open to everyone… There will be different profiles; customers, prospects, partners, prospective partners, students, enthusiasts. The reason and advantage of participation can be evaluated separately for each profile. First of all, it is very important for our customers; caniasERP is a living product, constantly evolving and changing. They will have the opportunity to listen to these changes firsthand. Even if they use this product, they will discover new features that can add value to their business, and they will be able to get clearer information about it in some way through our consultants and sales team. I think it is more important for prospective customers; maybe they want to manage their companies more effectively but they are stuck somewhere and they are looking for a flexible solution for them… In this activity they will have the chance to know one of the important alternatives, caniasERP, compare with the other ERP software they know and meet the IAS team. I think this meeting is also important for the partners; IAS is a company that has serious goals for growth and achieves these with each passing day, and also has a culture of working with partners outside in any locaiton. Both international sense as well as in Turkey. So it's a nice event where partners or prospective partners can get the latest, hottest information so that they can best tell this product to their customers or potential customers. Nice collaborations came out of our previous activities and good contacts were established. After the event there was a serious tempo, we received a return from many people. These are a good trigger for us, adding serious dynamism.

On which subject will you make presentation? Can you give us some information?
From a different perspective; As a software development platform, we now offer our own database system called IAS DB. My presentation will be about this new database system. IAS DB is a very important product for both our company and our country. We believe that IAS DB, which is an important alternative to the well-known database systems with its qualifications, will create significant value for our customers and our country. and lower the total cost of ownership of our customers. IAS DB offers significant opportunities in terms of compatibility and performance with the caniasERP platform. However, it is also an infrastructure work for projects such as artificial intelligence and big data that we plan to realize in the future. At the same time, having our own database in IoT studies will give us an important way. We see IAS DB as an entry point, a step for future projects. IAS DB is a very important project in terms of being Turkish made, providing advantages in terms of cost, compliance, performance and security and creating a step forward for some of the works we plan to do in the future. I think it will create a serious potential if we can integrate the product well into the market. It will be a big step in terms of Turkey's economy. Today, a large-scale ERP user makes a significant investment when buying foreign database software. IAS DB is a beautiful product that can meet the needs of customers on a large scale.
