Pakten Healthcare Products started its activities in 2000 as the first diaper manufacturer in the region. Pakten produces 1.6 billion baby diapers, 78 million patient diapers, and 10 million wet towels every year with the brands Önlem, Joyful, Holder, and Curelex in its portfolio. Exporting 70% of its products abroad, Pakten supports the country's economy. At the same time, it increases its brand awareness day by day with its exports to 42 countries. With the stability in its success, Pakten continues to take firm steps towards becoming a world brand within the scope of the 'Turquality-Brand Support Program'.

As Pakten, while taking firm steps towards success, we realized that this would only be possible by fulfilling the requirements of the age. Before caniasERP, we used an accounting-based software. As a company that continues to grow day by day, we realized that the biggest requirement is an integrated ERP system. We sought a system in which integrated transactions could be performed and managed.

During our search for ERP, which started in 2015, we primarily identified the needs of all departments. Then, by creating our route, we started our research for a system that includes income and expense statements, costs, budget, order and MRP management, production, and where the relationship of all these can be reported. As a result of our research, we chose caniasERP because of its flexible and expandable structure, providing an integrated solution, and providing the most appropriate response to our processes among all companies in the industry.

We have put all modules live in as little as 4 months after we decided on caniasERP. As of January 1, 2017, we have started to use caniasERP in all our departments from production to MRP, sales order management to purchasing process, prescriptions to control process. Then we commissioned budget, warehouse management, barcode management, nettahsilat, and e-commerce integration processes. At the moment, we are in the process of a new integration process for sales field applications while our caniasIoT installations are underway to read data from machines.

It was very important for Pakten to be able to run the balance sheet income statements according to both currencies. In this context, the project team and IAS consultants allowed us to track the actual cost at the second rate. Today, we can view our costs as VUK, IFRS according to Turkish Financial Reporting standards. Within the scope of budget management; Sales Budget, Purchasing Budget, Personnel Budget, Investment Budget, Initial Inventory Activity (Cost), Inbound Entry (Cost), Work Order-Bound Output (Cost)  we can access the most accurate budget and predict our growth with the most accurate data such as Cost of Goods Sold.

Polat Özelçinler, Pakten Human Resources and Quality Management Manager:

After starting to work with caniasERP, we realized how important the integrated system is and gained a more controlled structure. IAS's Pakten-specific: according to the registration key, thanks to the payroll system, we can create all our payrolls on the ERP system. We can manage the expenses related to each department in the most accurate way and we can access project distributions on a person-by-person basis as an R&D center. With caniasERP, we gained an advantage in many Human Resources applications such as  performance, recruitment, discipline, layoffs, norm staffing and workforce plan, training, payroll financial processes, etc.

Thanks to the SAL module, we can manage order receipts and invoices via a single screen with the special development of the sales reports management screen for Pakten. With the reservation structure created, a product reserved for one customer is prevented from being sent to another customer. In addition, thanks to the customer limit quota, board approval is required in case of overdrafts. Thanks to the virtual POS, customers can instantly control their accounts and make payments. Thanks to all these features, we can create the next year's targets for traceability and reportability in Pakten.

One of the advantages that caniasERP brings to Pakten is the traceable structure in our production process. Thanks to the caniasERP production module, we can instantly access information about which work order starts and when it works.  We can instantly track which line, which raw materials are used, how many products are produced, how much waste occurs and the reasons why they occur.

Ümit Gençtürk, Pakten R&D and Quality Control Manager:

By using to BOM and QLT module, we can access the data of which product is used and how much is used in prescriptions with the approval mechanism. We can prevent purchases from the supplier when the criteria determined by approved supplier management are not met. If the product does not pass through the quality control approval mechanism, the transfer process is not allowed so that we can only move with the appropriate materials and reduce the error rate to zero.

İshak Yılmaz, Pakten Supply Chain Manager:

With caniasERP's warehouse and shelf management system, we can instantly see which product is in which pallet. In addition, with the barcoding system, we can perform all our movements through the hand terminals. By the warehouse management system developed specifically for Pakten, we save time by carrying out all our preparations before shipment in a way that is independent of the person and the day before.

Thanks to caniasERP's material code structure, we have created a separate smart code mechanism for all product classes  such as finished, semi-finished, raw material, service, expense, commercial materials. With this structure, we have a material card structure that is completely specific to us. Different categories such as stock card type, brand, size and package type within the finished material card structure have become followable separately. In this way, we are able to accurately track material cards in cost, budget and all reports. In addition, after our version transition, we were able to continue without any disruptions in our business processes.
