Last month, IAS and the Project Management Institute (PMI) through its Turkish branch signed a corporate membership cooperation Protocol. With this agreement, IAS now closely follows the project management methodologies of international standards in its own projects and has taken the initiative of raising awareness among its stakeholders, its employees and business partners. As a corporate member of PMI Turkey, IAS is focused on raising awareness of project management methodologies and increase its acceptance as a professional organization.
IAS Project Manager Fatih Gorgulu attended the Project Management Institute (PMI) Turkey meeting which was held as a digital event due to the pandemic. Gorgulu told the group “ IAS has over 1000 customers in over 30 countries, as a company that is aware of the need to follow certain metholodigies for successful projects and works to raise awareness among its employees and stakeholders. IAS provides both financial and moral support and encourage its employees to get PMP certification for all projects managers. For this reason, I think the cooperation initiated with PMI Turkey will be extremely beneficial for both parties”.
Regarding the cooperation agreement between Project Management Institute (PMI) Turkey and IAS and the possible benefits, Gorgulu said: “PMI TR at which I previously volunteer is open to new ideas to meet the needs of its corporate member. With the expansion of the corporate member network, I believe the support provided by PMI TR to its members, resource pools that contributes to professional development, financial incentives to members, education and mentoring will increase. Additionally, I anticipate that all corporate members from easch other as a result of this PMI TR process.
